Hello Beautiful People✨

🌿I hope this message finds you well, cozy and rested. All good here, happy about having used my time away from gardening to further my training. I had quite the challenging Mantra & Sanskrit class last week. The challenge was a wonderful thing though! 😁  

I'm also mid Yoga Nidra Facilitator training. So grateful to have made time for this. I've had some of my most powerful experiences from yoga Nidra and I'm looking forward to sharing this practice.

✨I am thrilled to be back after my holiday break! Although the studio is still closed till the 7th, I’m in full planning and spreading the word mode this evening. 😉 So… A few reminders about what’s in store at Sound Seed Yoga’s studio this month.✨
🌕First off, even though not in studio, we have two spots left for our Full Moon Ceremony tomorrow night (the 6th) in Willow Point, if ever you want to join or want more info let me know. 🌕🐺🎶💕✨
My other great announcement is the special event for the Studio’s reopening January 8th, 3pm will be a Dance Session! Here’s the description:

Moving through the seven main chakras, raising our frequencies, balancing and awakening our energy centres with movement, sound and intention!

A special playlist picked to move and grove while we release and energize! Some guidance will be given, however there will be ample space for freestyle expression! 
Weather depending this may take place outside around a fire! A beautiful way to start the new year!!  🔥

I’m also looking to add a morning class or two or 3..? In February. Something more high energy, dynamic movement along with some basic shatkarma practices (detoxifying). I was initially thinking 6:30 to 7:15am so people can practice before their work day, but that may be crazy🤪

Well, what a beautiful evening we shared on Solstice! Thank you so much to all who attended, we raised 142$ for the Food Bank and braved the coldest evening in the studio so far! Hoping for warmer times ahead😅


Speaking of weather, it’s quite the snow fall we’ve had yet again.. I’ve checked in with those who have signed up for tonight’s New Moon Sound Bath. If I haven’t checked in with you directly and you were hoping to attend tonight, please contact me so I can keep you updated on the latest.. Not sure if it’s on at this point..❄️❄️❄️

🕉️You will noticed the studio is still on holiday break on this upcoming Full Moon. I was asked by Jenny Rachael if I would collaborate with her at her place in Willow Point and just had to say yes!! ⭐️You will also notice a Special Event on the studio’s reopening date January 8th. It is yet to be determined and I’m open to your input. I’m thinking either:


⭐️A ceremony involving the 5 elements
⭐️A path clearing for the new year involving mantra and vision boarding
⭐️Or a « kundalini dance » session intended to balance and nourish the 7 main chakras

I hope this message finds you all warm and cozy. I thought I might check in about tonight and Friday. 
If you are planning on coming to tonight’s event at 6 please dress extra warmly and bring an extra blanket just in case. I have a bunch here now too.. It’s been quite a challenge to keep the place warm and not much movement is planned for tonight.

​I also wanted to give you all a heads up for Friday. It looks like we have snow coming and given the low to no attendance when the roads are bad and how much effort and firewood is needed to sorta heat the place when it’s this cold, I may have to cancel. I will confirm either way Friday morning❄️❄️❄️

Last Kirtan of 2022 this evening 

(New Moon Sound Bath by Donation next Friday at 7 before the studio’s 2 week holiday break.. )

I hope this message finds you well. Please find the following December Schedule, hot off the presses!😉 

A few things to note are that Thursday's class has been moved to Friday 6pm. A short Sound Yoga class that will be the perfect lead up to 7 o'clock Kirtan. We shall clear our energy pathways and warm up our bodies, breath & voices before chanting. Accessible for everyone and a highly recommended practice for an optimal inner and outer vibrational experience.

As for Tuesday's class, starting November 29th, it will be lead as a Journey through the Chakras. Starting at the base and moving to the crown along with integration before the new year. Come for a class or come for them all! 

Continued regular offerings like the Full Moon Ceremony, New Moon Sound Bath (which fall in Friday's class and kirtan time slot this month, so will be offered by donation and priority will be given to regular kirtan attendees if space becomes an issue..).

Drumming Circle officially on the 3rd Saturday on the month 3pm, from now on.

Finally, along with the previously announced solstice celebration, Sounds of Solstice​, December 21st 6pm, another special offering to note is a collaboration honouring the winter season with Quadra's own Trinity Gerenser, Winter's Harmony, December 18th, 3pm.

So yes, lots going on here this month. As always, please let me know if you are planning to attend a class or event as spaces are limited and the studio needs to be warmed up advance if I know people are coming.

Hello again Beautiful People I hope this message finds you well. I am very pleased to share this Solstice Event Announcement!! 

Gather on the longest night of the year for 108 repetitions of the Gayatri mantra. This powerful mantra japa practice will be followed by a special Sound Medicine session, to integrate and assist in setting intention.

The word Solstice comes from the Latin words sol and sistere meaning the sun standing still. It marks the longest night of the year and the shift back to increasing Light. As the axis of the Earth pauses, shifts and moves in the opposite direction. It opens a door for taking a moment in our own lives, resting and letting emerging ideas surface. Immersing one’s self in the Sound Vibrations of a Sound Bath can be an ideal practice for this, as it is conducive to stillness, feeling and observing what arises. 

This community event will be offered by donation as a thank you from Sound Seed Yoga studio. All proceeds will be given to the Quadra Island food bank.
