I hope this message finds you well. Please find the following December Schedule, hot off the presses!😉 

A few things to note are that Thursday's class has been moved to Friday 6pm. A short Sound Yoga class that will be the perfect lead up to 7 o'clock Kirtan. We shall clear our energy pathways and warm up our bodies, breath & voices before chanting. Accessible for everyone and a highly recommended practice for an optimal inner and outer vibrational experience.

As for Tuesday's class, starting November 29th, it will be lead as a Journey through the Chakras. Starting at the base and moving to the crown along with integration before the new year. Come for a class or come for them all! 

Continued regular offerings like the Full Moon Ceremony, New Moon Sound Bath (which fall in Friday's class and kirtan time slot this month, so will be offered by donation and priority will be given to regular kirtan attendees if space becomes an issue..).

Drumming Circle officially on the 3rd Saturday on the month 3pm, from now on.

Finally, along with the previously announced solstice celebration, Sounds of Solstice​, December 21st 6pm, another special offering to note is a collaboration honouring the winter season with Quadra's own Trinity Gerenser, Winter's Harmony, December 18th, 3pm.

So yes, lots going on here this month. As always, please let me know if you are planning to attend a class or event as spaces are limited and the studio needs to be warmed up advance if I know people are coming.

Hello again Beautiful People I hope this message finds you well. I am very pleased to share this Solstice Event Announcement!! 

Gather on the longest night of the year for 108 repetitions of the Gayatri mantra. This powerful mantra japa practice will be followed by a special Sound Medicine session, to integrate and assist in setting intention.

The word Solstice comes from the Latin words sol and sistere meaning the sun standing still. It marks the longest night of the year and the shift back to increasing Light. As the axis of the Earth pauses, shifts and moves in the opposite direction. It opens a door for taking a moment in our own lives, resting and letting emerging ideas surface. Immersing one’s self in the Sound Vibrations of a Sound Bath can be an ideal practice for this, as it is conducive to stillness, feeling and observing what arises. 

This community event will be offered by donation as a thank you from Sound Seed Yoga studio. All proceeds will be given to the Quadra Island food bank.

Quick notice here to tell you about Sound Seed Yoga's first online Sale! I've been working hard on updating my website and winterizing the studio.. Now, it's time to share what I have to offer! Click the online sale button to see what it's all about.

In other news, lots to look forward to from here till the end of the year. December schedule coming out next week, including a Solstice 108 Gayatri Mantra Meditation and Sound Bath, December 21st 6 to 8pm (more details to come). For November, continued Friday evening Kirtan at 7pm and weekly regular classes (Note: Tuesday the 15th at 7pm will most likely  canceled, please let me know if you were planning to come). 

Also, not to miss, Saturday the 19th at 3pm Drumming Circle led by Ron Lion and finally, New Moon Sound Bath 7pm on November 23rd.
