✨🍂An ode to the change of seasons and the cyclical nature of life. Falling into balance with Dance & Sacred Sound Immersion🍂✨
The word Equinox comes from the Latin words aequus (equal) and nox (night). This is a moment in the year where both day and night lengths are the same. A very auspicious time for finding balance in one's own life and reflecting this back to the outside world.
☀️As the active/solar/light part of our gathering, we shall have a freeform ecstatic dance. No talking (or thinking 😉) just allowing the upbeat rhythms, conscious lyrics and musical frequencies move our bodies.
🌑 As the passive/lunar/dark part of our evening, you will bathe in the soothing harmonies of sacred sounds of voice, crystal singing bowls, chimes and other sound medicine instruments.
Although the official Equinox is on the morning of the 22nd, the 21st will set the stage perfectly for "falling into fall", for inviting in balance as we make this transition. This evening is an extra potent time for spiritual practice, as it also coincides with New Moon and a partial solar eclipse.
As this celebration falls upon Sunday evening's regular class time slot, this event is offered at drop in class rate or one class off your pass. Please contact me to reserve your spot using your pass.
